Having traveled the entire planet after its discovery last year, the stone, called Lesedi La Rona, arrived in London to be exhibited, before being auctioned.

This stone, mined on November 16, 2015 in the Karowe mine in Bostwana, weighs 1,111 carats and is about the size of a tennis ball, an exceptional size for a gemstone.

This stone, never cut, contains according to specialists the biggest diamond ever discovered and raises therefore lively discussions in the world of precious stones.

After being exposed to the four corners of the planet since its discovery, the famous stone will be auctioned by Sotheby's London auction house on June 29th. This date should become historic because it is likely that Lesedi La Rona beat all records in terms of selling price. Case to follow

The Graff Pink is a diamond of exception of 24.78 carats, pink and cut in emerald. Also known around the world as Harry Wintson's pink diamond, the characteristics of this diamond make it one of the purest in history.

The story begins in 1950 when Harry Winston, a famous American jeweler, buys it from an anonymous Indian collector at an auction. As a ring, the stone became for a time the most expensive diamond in the world when the famous merchant Laurence Graff spent $ 46 million to appropriate it.

This stone, certified "Fancy intense Pink" by the famous American laboratory Gemological Institute of America (GIA), is of an extremely rare quality. Indeed, besides its weight, it combines an exceptional purity with a type LLA, proof of its great transparency.
